Volunteers should wear closed toe shoes, long pants, a long sleeve shirt and gloves. The giant reed can slice open bare skin pretty easily.

The Ready, Set, Plant initiative will allow the Urban Forestry Program to plant trees with water conservation in mind and build in flexibility into the current planting season. Help us renew the urban forest!

Brushy Creek MUD –Tree Planting

Working with Brushy Creek MUD and Williamson County United Way –
Discover Green is helping to plant 75 trees in the Brushy Creek MUD – Clean up activities and storm drain marking will be happening as well.
Our mission at Discover Green - Young Environmental Leaders, Inc. is to work with youth dedicated to raise community awareness of environmental issues and encourage teens to take action through environment projects.
